The Lancia Stratos HF - the HF standing for High Fidelity (nope, us neither) was built as a ground up rally car first debuting in 1973.
It dominated the rally scene with many wins at prestigious events under its belt and started a new era in rallying where manufacturers began designing specific vehicles to enter into competition.
Designed at Bertone by Marcello Gandini who had already designed the Lamborghini Miura, its iconic windscreen was wrapped around the cockpit for maximum visibility and paired with its ultra wedge shape typical of the 70’s, it has become an infamous piece of automotive design.
